I paint every job myself

I'm Marcel. I've painted houses in the North Okanagan since 2009, on my own. The person who quotes your job is the person who paints it.

Most of my work comes from people I've painted for before, and their neighbours. I cover the floors, tape every edge and clean up before I leave each day.

Do I need to move the furniture?

No. I move it, cover it with canvas, and put it back.

What paint do you use?

Benjamin Moore or Sherwin-Williams, bought in Vernon. You pick the colour; I bring big samples to see on your wall, in your light.

When can you start?

Inside jobs usually within three weeks. Outside work books up by May, so call in the winter for summer.

My house was built before 1990. Is that a problem?

Older paint can contain lead. I test before I sand, and if it's there I work to WorkSafeBC's rules for it. It's in the quote, not a surprise.

Do you take a deposit?

No. You pay when the job is done and you've walked through every room with me.
